The Out-of-Africa replacement model proposes a simian origin of humanity from tree dwelling ancestors, then single and relatively recent transition from archaic hominins to anatomically correct humans in Africa, followed by a later migration to the rest of the world, mutating or rapidly evolving into MODERN humans (not just anatomically correct) and replacing other archaic hominin populations. This theory, however, is not supported by the fossil record and has encountered numerous problems with advances in genomic sequencing.

19,000 year old Virginia Flint Knife came from France - ROBERT SEPEHR

The similarity between other later east coast US and European Stone Age stone tool technologies has been noted before. But all the US European-style tools, unearthed before the discovery or dating of the recently found or dated US east coast sites, were from around 15,000 years ago - long after Stone Age Europeans (the Solutrean cultures of France and Iberia) had ceased making such artifacts. 

 Most archaeologists had therefore rejected any possibility of a connection. But the newly-discovered and recently-dated early Maryland and other US east coast Stone Age tools are from between 26,000 and 19,000 years ago - and are therefore contemporary with the virtually identical western European material.

What’s more, chemical analysis carried out last year on a European-style stone knife found in Virginia back in 1971 revealed that it was made of French-originating flint.

Professor Dennis Stanford, of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC, and Professor Bruce Bradley of the University of Exeter, the two leading archaeologists who have analysed all the evidence, are proposing that Stone Age people from Western Europe migrated to North America at the height of the Ice Age by travelling (over the ice surface and/or by boat) along the edge of the frozen northern part of the Atlantic. They are presenting their detailed evidence in a new book - Across Atlantic Ice – published this month.

At the peak of the Ice Age, around three million square miles of the North Atlantic was covered in thick ice for all or part of the year.

However, the seasonally shifting zone where the ice ended and the open ocean began would have been extremely rich in food resources – migrating seals, sea birds, fish and the now-extinct penguin-like species, the great auk.

 Stanford and Bradley have long argued that Stone Age humans were quite capable of making the 1500 mile journey across the Atlantic ice - but till now there was comparatively little evidence to support their thinking.

But the new Maryland, Virginia and other US east coast material, and the chemical tests on the Virginian flint knife, have begun to transform the situation. Now archaeologists are starting to investigate half a dozen new sites in Tennessee, Maryland and even Texas – and these locations are expected to produce more evidence.

Another key argument for Stanford and Bradley’s proposal is the complete absence of any human activity in north-east Siberia and Alaska prior to around 15,500 years ago. If the Maryland and other east coast people of 26,000 to 19,000 years ago had come from Asia, not Europe, early material, dating from before 19,000 years ago, should have turned up in those two northern areas, but none have been found.

Although Solutrean Europeans may well have been the first Americans, they had a major disadvantage compared to the Asian-originating Indians who entered the New World via the Bering Straits or along the Aleutian Islands chain after 15,500 years ago.

Whereas the Solutreans had only had a 4500 year long ‘Ice Age’ window to carry out their migratory activity, the Asian-originating Indians had some 15,000 years to do it. What’s more, the latter two-thirds of that 15 millennia long period was climatologically much more favorable and substantially larger numbers of Asians were therefore able to migrate.

As a result of these factors the Solutrean (European originating) Native Americans were either partly absorbed by the newcomers or were substantially obliterated by them either physically or through competition for resources.

Some genetic markers for Stone Age western Europeans simply don’t exist in north- east Asia – but they do in tiny quantities among some north American Indian groups. Scientific tests on ancient DNA extracted from 8000 year old skeletons from Florida have revealed a high level of a key probable European-originating genetic marker. 

There are also a tiny number of isolated Native American groups whose languages appear not to be related in any way to Asian-originating American Indian peoples.

But the greatest amount of evidence is likely to come from under the ocean – for most of the areas where the Solutreans would have stepped off the Ice onto dry land are now up to 100 miles out to sea.

The one underwater site that has been identified - thanks to the scallop dredgers – is set to be examined in greater detail this summer – either by extreme-depth divers or by remotely operated mini submarines equipped with cameras and grab arms.

The Seven Great Hermetic Principles - ROBERT SEPEHR

The Kybalion: Hermetic Philosophy, originally published in 1908, is a book claiming to be the essence of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. Purportedly based upon ancient Hermeticism, its philosophies became founding pillars within the New Thought movement of the early 20th century. The book devotes a chapter to each of its seven "Principles", or axioms.

New Evidence Americas Settled At Least 31,000 Years Ago - ROBERT SEPEHR

Archaeologists have rewritten the history books for when humans first arrived in the Americas, shifting the date of the initial migration 15,000 years back in time. Excavations in a cave in Mexico revealed archaeological evidence of human occupation dating back to 31-33,000 years ago. This is in clear contradiction to the widely accepted belief that humans did not reach North America until around 16,000 years ago.

Did you know that a sea-faring American tribe explored the shores of North America 7000 years ago? Or that these ancient Americans rivaled their European counterparts in navigational skills several millennia before the Vikings?

The Windover Archeological Site is an Early Archaic (6000 to 5000 BC) archaeological site where skeletal remains of 168 individuals were found buried in the peat at the bottom of the pond. The skeletons were well preserved because of the characteristics of peat. In addition, remarkably well-preserved brain tissue has been recovered from many skulls from the site. DNA from the brain tissue has been sequenced. The collection of human skeletal remains and artifacts recovered from Windover Pond represent among the largest finds of each type from the Archaic Period. 

Archaeologists at this site were able to recover a total of 86 pieces of fabric from 37 graves. These included seven different textile weaves, which appeared to have been used for clothing, bags, matting, and possibly blankets and ponchos. Numerous other artifacts, such as atlatls and projectile points, were also found at Windover. The occupants of Windover hunted animals, fished, and gathered plants. They used bottle gourds for storage, which comprise the earliest evidence for vegetable container storage discovered in North America.

When people talk about Atlantis, they are usually referring to the writings of Plato, the Athenian philosopher who lived during the Classical period in Ancient Greece. According to Plato, massive cataclysms ended a powerful civilization 11,500 years ago , which incidentally is the same date anthropologists recognize as the end of the Pleistocene and start of our current Holocene age. That said, the King James Bible of 1611 remains the most popular translation in history, emerging at a high point in the English Renaissance, compiled by six groups, comprised of some 54 translators, of which we know very little about. The Emerald Tablet of Thoth/Hermes - ROBERT SEPEHR

Hermeticism is a philosophical tradition that gets its name from Hermes Trismegistus, a word which means thrice-greatest Hermes. Hermes in ancient Greek mythology was the emissary or messenger of the Gods, able to move freely between the worlds of the mortal and the divine, associated with the planet Mercury, as well as the caduceus, which is the famous symbol of a winged staff intertwined with two snakes. 

He was the God of Wisdom, as well as the equivalent in ancient Egyptian mythology as the god Thoth, scribe to the Gods, accredited with inventing writing, the god of science, magic, art, among other things. The most famous literature in the field of Hermeticism, and attributed to Hermes, is known as the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean. Whether or not the information stretches all the way back to the time of Atlantis, is disputed, and is mostly commonly attributed to European Renaissance alchemy starting towards the end of the middle ages. Ann argument can be made that alchemy can be traced at least to ancient Egypt, which used to be be called Kemet, from where we get the word alchemy.

According to certain Buddhist and Hindu traditions, secret tunnels connect Tibet with a subterranean paradise, and they call this legendary underworld Agartha or Shambhala. The Achaemenid, or the First Persian Empire, was founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BC, and extended from Eastern Europe in the west to the Indus valley. It was larger than any previous known empire in history, building road systems, postal systems, and showing its citizens a lot of religious tolerance.

In Iran, located on Mount Behistun, which means 'place where the gods dwell', four similar tombs are cut into the stone cliffs, as well as an inscription by Darius the Great, which was crucial to the decipherment of cuneiform script, as the inscription includes three versions of the same text, written in three different cuneiform script languages: Elamite, Babylonian, and Old Persian. The inscription is to cuneiform, what the Rosetta Stone is to Egyptian hieroglyphs: the document most crucial in the decipherment of a previously lost script.

Ancient Tomb Discovered Below Roman Forum - ROBERT SEPEHR

Archaeologists have uncovered an area devoted to the first King of Rome and a rock sarcophagus, which are believed to date back to the 6th century BC. The underground temple is buried beneath the entrance stairway to the Senate building where Roman senators voted. The shrine has a Greek inscription referring to how the sacred ground must not be disturbed.

In Roman mythology, Romulus and his twin brother Remus were left in a basket on the River Tiber. The pair survived, and a she-wolf found the twins at the the base of a fig tree after their mother was forced to abandon them. The wolf cared for the boys and raised them, letting them suckle on her. Romulus later killed his brother Remus in a fight on what became Palatine Hill in 753 BC, and became the first King of Rome.
