The Emerald Tablet of Thoth/Hermes - ROBERT SEPEHR

Hermeticism is a philosophical tradition that gets its name from Hermes Trismegistus, a word which means thrice-greatest Hermes. Hermes in ancient Greek mythology was the emissary or messenger of the Gods, able to move freely between the worlds of the mortal and the divine, associated with the planet Mercury, as well as the caduceus, which is the famous symbol of a winged staff intertwined with two snakes. 

He was the God of Wisdom, as well as the equivalent in ancient Egyptian mythology as the god Thoth, scribe to the Gods, accredited with inventing writing, the god of science, magic, art, among other things. The most famous literature in the field of Hermeticism, and attributed to Hermes, is known as the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean. Whether or not the information stretches all the way back to the time of Atlantis, is disputed, and is mostly commonly attributed to European Renaissance alchemy starting towards the end of the middle ages. The Achaemenid, or the First Persian Empire, was founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BC, and extended from Eastern Europe in the west to the Indus valley. It was larger than any previous known empire in history, building road systems, postal systems, and showing its citizens a lot of religious tolerance.

In Iran, located on Mount Behistun, which means 'place where the gods dwell', four similar tombs are cut into the stone cliffs, as well as an inscription by Darius the Great, which was crucial to the decipherment of cuneiform script, as the inscription includes three versions of the same text, written in three different cuneiform script languages: Elamite, Babylonian, and Old Persian. The Legend of Beowulf - ROBERT SEPEHR

One of the most important works of Old English literature, Beowulf is an epic poem consisting of over 3,000 lines, beautifully written in alliterative verse. Set in Scandinavia, Beowulf was the hero of a northern Germanic tribe, in what is now southern Sweden, who comes to the aid of a Danish king, who came under attack by Grendel, a descendant of the Biblical Cain. After Beowulf slays him with his bare hands, Grendel's mother also launches an attack, but is also defeated with a giant's sword that he found.

Victorious, Beowulf goes home to Sweden, and becomes king of a sect of sea-faring Goths, called Geats. Before the consolidation of Sweden, they were politically independent of the Swedes, and have now disappeared into legend and history. 50 years after becoming a Geatish king, Beowulf finds his realm terrorized by a dragon, who he then defeats, but is mortally wounded in the battle. After his death, his attendants cremate his body and erect a tower in his memory.

Written sometime after the year 700, the full story survives in the manuscript known as the Nowell Codex, now housed in the British Library.. It has no title in the original manuscript, but has become known by the name of the story's hero. Samodivas are woodland fairies found in South and West Slavic folklore and mythology, commonly depicted as ethereal maidens with long hair, and in some cases, wings. Erik Thorvaldsson, known as Erik the Red, was a Norwegian Viking, remembered in medieval and Icelandic saga sources as having founded the first Norse settlement in Greenland. His son, Leif Erikson was credited as the first known European to have discovered North America. Studies have found that almost all ivory traded throughout Europe in Medieval times came from Greenland walruses, which became extinct due to over hunting, contributing to the abandonment of Viking the settlements.

The Maritime Archaic is a North American cultural complex along the coast of Newfoundland and surrounding area, with at least three settlement episodes by distinct cultural groups, that began in approximately 7000 BC, also known as the Red Paint People because of the use of red ochre on their elaborate burials.

A vortex is most commonly defined as a mass of whirling fluid, gas, or air, especially a whirlpool or whirlwind, in which the flow rotates around an axis line. Math is often defined as the science of numbers, quantities, and shapes and the relationship between them. So, Vortex based mathematics can be described as a new way of understanding numbers, not just as mere quantities, but where each has its own unique quality, archetype, and behavior.

Germanic Myth, Legend, and Unsolved Mystery - ROBERT SEPEHR

Lebus is a small town in eastern Germany, near Frankfort, located on the west bank of the Oder river at the modern border with Poland. In 1850, a mysterious stranger was found wandering around the town, seemingly lost, and speaking a broken form of German. Confronted by authorities, he did not appear to be able to speak or understand any of the European languages, except for his imperfect form of German, and claimed to have come from an unknown country called Laxaria, separated by vast oceans from Europe.

He said his purpose in coming was to seek a long-lost brother; but he suffered shipwreck on the voyage and did not know where the wreck occurred, nor how he arrived in Germany, and he could not trace his route on shore on any map or globe. He said his name was Jophar Vorin, and the historical record of what happened to him ended as inexplicably as it began, but is still used as an example to describe the possibility of parallel universes, alternate realities, or inhabitants from Inner Earth.

St Patrick's Purgatory is an ancient pilgrimage site on Station Island in Lough Derg, County Donegal, Ireland. According to legend, the site dates from the fifth century, and in modern times a monastery sits over the portal some have called a gateway to Hell.

While casual visitors are not generally allowed on the island, yearly pilgrimage to the site continues to this day where devout worshipers come in droves to take a three-day sojourn of contemplation, fasting, and barefoot prayer, touted as “the toughest in all of Europe, perhaps even in the whole Christian world.”

Saint Patrick was a fifth-century British born Christian missionary and bishop, known as the primary patron saint of Ireland. One of the most famous legends recounts how this great 5th century saint banished all of the snakes from Ireland. We know the pagans of Ireland as the Druids, and their symbol was … the snake.

Melusine or Melusina is a figure of European folklore and mythology, a female spirit of fresh water in a sacred spring or river, usually depicted as a woman who is a serpent or fish from the waist down, much like a two-tailed mermaid. She is sometimes referred to as the Serpent Mother of European Royalty.

According to the book, "The Serpent And The Swan: The Animal Bride In Folklore And Literature," the name "Melusine" was used as an abbreviation of the words 'Mere des Lusignan' or 'Mother of the Lusignans.' The House of Lusignan was a royal house of French origin, which at various times ruled several principalities in Europe and the Levant, including the kingdoms of Jerusalem, Cyprus, and Armenia, from the 12th through the 15th centuries during the Middle Ages.

Mystery of the Moon Eyed People - ROBERT SEPEHR

The Moon-Eyed people were said to be a race of small people that, according to Cherokee legend, were blinded by daylight, but able to see in moonlight, who only came out at night, and were described as under three feet tall, light-skinned, with big blue eyes.

The Cherokee are one of the indigenous people of the Southeastern Woodlands of the United States. Prior to the 18th century, they were concentrated in what is now southwestern North Carolina, southeastern Tennessee, edges of western South Carolina, northeastern Georgia and northeastern Alabama.
