The Seven Great Hermetic Principles - ROBERT SEPEHR

The Kybalion: Hermetic Philosophy, originally published in 1908, is a book claiming to be the essence of the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. Purportedly based upon ancient Hermeticism, its philosophies became founding pillars within the New Thought movement of the early 20th century. The book devotes a chapter to each of its seven "Principles", or axioms.

Eastern European Culture and Mythology - ROBERT SEPEHR

Samodivas are woodland fairies found in South and West Slavic folklore and mythology, commonly depicted as ethereal maidens with long hair, and in some cases, wings. Melusine or Melusina is a figure of European folklore and mythology, a female spirit of fresh water in a sacred spring or river, usually depicted as a woman who is a serpent or fish from the waist down, much like a two-tailed mermaid. She is sometimes referred to as the Serpent Mother of European Royalty.

According to the book, "The Serpent And The Swan: The Animal Bride In Folklore And Literature," the name "Melusine" was used as an abbreviation of the words 'Mere des Lusignan' or 'Mother of the Lusignans.' The House of Lusignan was a royal house of French origin, which at various times ruled several principalities in Europe and the Levant, including the kingdoms of Jerusalem, Cyprus, and Armenia, from the 12th through the 15th centuries during the Middle Ages.

According to Thor Heyerdahl, Norwegian mythology tells that the Scandinavian god Odin moved with his people to Norway from a land by the Caucasus mountains and the Black Sea. These conclusions were shared by the Icelander, Snorre Sturlason, in 1241, (Snorri, The Sagas of the Viking Kings of Norway, Oslo 1987) who places the location in southern Russia or the Caucasus.

The Sumerians were an agricultural civilization that permanently settled Mesopotamia between 5500BC and 4000BC, developing early cuneiform writing around 3000 BC. Monoceros is Latin for Unicorn, and is the name of the constellation of the Unicorn, only visible in the winter months in the Northern sky, then it disappears from view, re-appearing again the following winter, and so appears to die, but then is re-born again the following winter, December 25th, which also coincides with the winter solstice, where the Sun is re-born. So, in an astro-theological context, the Unicorn has been associated with and represents Christ. The Roman statesman and philosopher Marcus Cicero called Saturn, Phainon, a word meaning “shining”. Saturn is where we get our name for Saturday, and  Saturnalia was probably the most popular festivals of the Roman calendar. 

The planet Jupiter has been known since ancient times. It's visible to the naked eye in the night sky, and can occasionally be seen in the daytime when the Sun is low. In Germanic mythology, Jupiter is equated to Thor, where we get the name for Thursday. Zeus is the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion, and Jupiter was known as Amon to the Egyptians.

Wise as Serpents - ROBERT SEPEHR

The ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail, a symbol of cyclical time, a continual renewal of life, death and rebirth, a widespread symbol of the "All-in-All", the totality of existence, infinity, and the cyclic nature of the cosmos.

In Gnosticism, this serpent symbolized eternity of the soul. The serpent was one of the earth-animals associated with the cult of Mithras, as well as the Magi. In Hinduism, Kundalini is a coiled serpent, the residual power of pure desire. "Kundalini" refers to the energy of yogic awakening, leading to altered states of higher consciousness.

     Most people have heard of Jesus Christ, considered the Messiah by Christians, and who lived 2000 years ago. But very few have ever heard of Sabbatai Zevi, who declared himself the Messiah in 1666. By proclaiming redemption was available through acts of sin, he amassed a following of over one million passionate believers, about half the world's Jewish population during the 17th century.

     Although many Rabbis at the time considered him a heretic, his fame extended far and wide. Sabbatai's adherents planned to abolish many ritualistic observances, because, according to the Talmud, holy obligations would no longer apply in the Messianic time. Fasting days became days of feasting and rejoicing. Sabbateans encouraged and practiced sexual promiscuity, adultery, incest and religious orgies.

     After Sabbati Zevi's death in 1676, his Kabbalist successor, Jacob Frank, expanded upon and continued his occult philosophy. Frankism, a religious movement of the 18th and 19th centuries, centered on his leadership, and his claim to be the reincarnation of the Messiah Sabbatai Zevi. He, like Zevi, would perform "strange acts" that violated traditional religious taboos, such as eating fats forbidden by Jewish dietary laws, ritual sacrifice, and promoting orgies and sexual immorality.

     He often slept with his followers, as well as his own daughter, while preaching a doctrine that the best way to imitate God was to cross every boundary, transgress every taboo, and mix the sacred with the profane. Hebrew University of Jerusalem Professor Gershom Scholem called Jacob Frank, "one of the most frightening phenomena in the whole of Jewish history".

Frank would eventually enter into an alliance formed by Adam Weishaupt and Meyer Amshel Rothschild called the Order of the Illuminati. The objectives of this organization was to undermine the world's religions and power structures, in an effort to usher in a utopian era of global communism, which they would covertly rule by their hidden hand: the New World Order. 

 

     Using secret societies, such as the Freemasons, their agenda has played itself out over the centuries, staying true to the script. Root Races in the Cosmology of Theosophy

Root-Race is a Theosophical concept that refers to successive evolutionary stages through which humanity goes in its pilgrimage on our earth. Helena Blavatsky asserted that humanity was presently in the fifth root race, the Aryan race, shades of Atlantis.

Theosophists assert that Aryan root race is white because it was generated from a specific tribe of the fourth (original Semite) sub-race of the Atlanteans that was white and lived in the mountains of northeastern Atlantis. The closest relatives today to this tribe are the Basques; the bards of the new white race poetically described Aryans as being moon-colored.

Thus the Aryan root race overlapped the fourth, or Atlantean root race, and the first beginnings of the fifth root race were toward the end of the time during which the fourth root race dwelt in Atlantis. The small band of only 9,000 people constituting the then small Aryan root race migrated out of Atlantis in 79,797 BC. A small group of these Aryan migrants from Atlantis split from the main body of migrants and went south to the shore of an inland sea in what was then a verdant and lush Sahara where they founded the "City of the Sun". 

 

The main body of migrants continued onwards to an island called the "white island" in the middle of what was then an inland sea in what is now the Gobi desert, where they established the "City of the Bridge" which was constructed near the holy city called Shamballa.

 

Blavatsky described the fifth root race with the following words: "The Aryan races, now varying from dark brown, almost black, red-brown-yellow, down to the whitest creamy color, are yet all of one and the same stock; the Fifth Root-Race; and spring from one single progenitor," which Hindus call Manu and Anthropology calls Cro magnon, which mated with other hominid species such as Denisovans,  Neanderthal, and African homo erectus, to give humanity its ethnic diversity.

 

Theosophists believe that each root race has a separate and distinct progenitor, and that the race that Cro magnon belonged to represented the parent race of which the Aryans of the Holocene descend from.

 

The sixth sub-race of the Aryan root race is expected to evolve in the early 21st century, possessing certain psychic ability, and for this the pituitary body will be developed, thus giving an additional sense of cognizing astral emotions in ordinary waking consciousness.

In general, the sixth sub-race will bring in wisdom and intuition, blending all that is best in the intelligence of the fifth sub-race and the emotion of the fourth. Tens of thousands of years in the future, a new continent will arise in the Pacific Ocean that will be the future home of the sixth root race. California west of the San Andreas fault will break off from the mainland of North America and become the Island of California off the eastern coast of the new continent.

Alchemy: The Green Lion Devouring The Sun - ROBERT SEPEHR

There are two basic types of Alchemy:  The Laboratory Alchemy involving actual chemical experiments in the lab which may lead to creating the Philosophers Stone; and the Psychological Alchemy which may lead to the achievement of a higher conscious state in the individual human being.

‘The Green Lion Devouring The Sun' is a popular alchemical symbol. On a chemical level this is a metaphor for when a green, liquid sulfate called “vitriol” purifies matter, leaving behind the gold within the matter. Very pure vitriol is an acid that eats through practically anything, except gold.

To naturalist alchemists, the Green Lyon metaphor described the process whereby plants used the rays of the sun to facilitate their own growth - a process we call photosynthesis.

On a human level, the green lion eating the sun is a metaphor for when a person’s “consciousness [is] overwhelmed by violent, frustrated desires” (Fabricus). In other words, inside a person, when the metaphor of the green lion eating the sun takes place, the person is compelled to act out destructively.

In contrast, when the green lion eats the sun in a person on a higher spiritual path (for example, an alchemist), the person allows the green lion to eat them in order to be purified — to become spiritually golden.
