Origin and Meaning of the Name California - ROBERT SEPEHR

In the 16th century, when Spanish explorers first discovered the Baja California peninsula, they believed it to be a large island. The name "California" was likely derived from a popular novel of the time, and eventually to the modern state of California, which obviously turned out to not be an island at all. Published around the year 1500, Las Sergas de Esplandián, tells a story of California as the name given to a mythical island populated only by female Amazonian-like warriors who used gold tools and weapons, ruled over by a Queen named Calafia.

Paradise City Discovered Below the North Sea - ROBERT SEPEHR

Some have called Doggerland the Stone Age Atlantis of Britain, while others think of it as a sort of prehistoric Garden of Eden. Doggerland was an area of land, now submerged beneath the southern North Sea, that connected Britain to continental Europe. It was flooded by rising sea levels around 8,000 years ago.

The Oera Linda Book is a manuscript written in a form of Old Frisian, purporting to cover historical, mythological, and religious themes of remote antiquity. The text alleges that Europe was for a large part of their history, ruled by a succession of folk-mothers presiding over a hierarchical order of celibate priestesses dedicated to the goddess Freya.

Unseen Worlds and Hidden Realities - ROBERT SEPEHR

Born in 1861, Rudolf Steiner was an Austrian philosopher, social reformer, architect, economist and esotericist. Steiner gained initial recognition at the end of the nineteenth century as a literary critic and published philosophical works including The Philosophy of Freedom.

Very few scientists today are willing to explore metaphysics to examine life beyond ordinary perception in order to make a connection between the seen and the unseen. That said, Rudolf Steiner devoted much of his work to the task of peering behind the veil, sharing his insight into the deeper nature of life and of the world beyond, the world of the unseen.

We are beings of light - ROBERT SEPEHR

When electrons become excited, they can emit a packet of light, or a photon. Bio-photons are photons of light in the ultraviolet and low visible light range that are produced by a biological system, particles of light, with no mass, that transmit information within and between cells. Fritz-Albert Popp is a German researcher in biophysics, particularly in the study of biophotons, and was quoted as saying that:

“We know today that man, essentially, is a being of light. We are still on the threshold of fully understanding the complex relationship between light and life, but we can now say emphatically, that the function of our entire metabolism is dependent on light."
